- Bonita
is a flexible cooperative workflow system based on the workflow model
proposed by the ECOO Team, which incorporates the anticipation of
activities as a more flexible mechanism of workflow execution. This
flexibility allows a considerable speed increase in the design and
development phases of cooperative applications. The workflow engine is
built on EJB (Enterprise Java Beans). The system offers a comprehensive
set of integrated graphical tools for performing the process conception
and definition, the instantiation and control of this process, and the
interaction with the users and other applications.
- Enhydra JaWE (Java Workflow Editor)
is a graphical workflow process editor fully adhering to WfMC
specifications. It can be used to edit or view any XPDL file which
conforms to WfMC specifications. It works with several open source and
commercial workflow engines, like Enhydra Shark, WfmOpen, OBE, and
OfBiz. It has participated in a WfMC interoperability demo where it was
used to handle XPDLs from Fujitsu, TIBCO, and the Enhydra Shark engine.
For a professional usage, there is a commercial version of this project
called Together Workflow Editor.
- pf1337
is a visual workflow creator and editor. It provides a visual interface
to connect modules in a graph. It includes the PhotoPartner plugin,
which easily allows you to do batch processing of images. Batch
converting RAW images is supported.
- OpenWFE
is a workflow engine. It is robust, extensible, and scalable. Access
libraries for Python, Perl, and .NET make it easy to write custom
interfaces or agents (automatic participants) for a workflow-enabled
system.
- SWAMP
is a workflow processing platform in which the workflow is designed in
an XML based language in one file which is read by the SWAMP server. It
avoids hardcoding business logic, and workflows can be built from
different workflow "patterns" like simple actions, decisions,
selections, loops, and custom code. The SWAMP server automatically
creates a Web GUI from the workflow definition file that guides users
through the business logic process based on their roles. Notification
is sent if required. Overview pages over all running workflows and much
more are available.
- WoPeD
(Workflow Petri Net Designer) is an easy-to-use software tool
for modeling, simulating, and analyzing workflow process and resource
descriptions using workflow nets, an extended class of Petri nets
initially introduced by Wil van der Aalst (TU Eindhoven). WoPeD is
mainly intended to be used by researchers, teaching staff, or students
dealing with the application of Petri nets to the area of workflow or
business process management.
