- cOOol
is a standalone script that scans a list of OpenOffice.org documents
for broken hyperlinks. Most types of links are supported, including
internal ones. It is very useful for keeping your documents up to date.

- extendedPDF is an OpenOffice.org macro that converts an OpenOffice document into a PDF document.
- Groovy For OpenOffice is an OpenOffice extension that adds support for scripting OpenOffice macros in Groovy.
- Itadaki
is a Japanese language toolset integrated with OpenOffice.org,
providing tools intended for students and translators of Japanese. Its
features include the automatic addition of furigana (reading
annotations) to Japanese text with a high degree of accuracy, and a
fast built-in dictionary. Itadaki is a cross-platform application
compatible with OpenOffice 2.0 or better on any supported platform.
- Jex
is a WYSIWYG mathematical equation editor for OpenOffice.org 2.0. It is
written in Java for cross-platform portability. TeX, MathML, and
Mathtype are supported as external formats. Conversion of documents to
and from TeX is supported.
- JooReports
is a solution for generating dynamic documents and reports in Java
based on OpenOffice.org. Templates can be easily composed with a word
processor. Documents can be generated in PDF, Word, and other formats.
Data sources include POJOs and XML.
- LanguageTool
is a style and grammar checker that currently supports English, German,
Polish, and Dutch, and offers initial support for other languages like
French and Spanish. It scans the words and their part-of-speech tags
for occurrences of error patterns, which are defined in an XML file.
Furthermore, more powerful error rules can be written in Java.
LanguageTool should be used after the spelling of a text has been
corrected.

- Mavscript
allows the user to do calculations in a text document. Plain text and
OpenOffice Writer files (odt/sxw) are supported. The calculation is
done by the algebra system Yacas or by the Java interpreter BeanShell.
- MyPatients is a medical records
database that uses OpenOffice.org Base and MySQL. It is based on a
Greek translation of ICD10 for its coding, and could easily be ported
to English if an English version of the ICD10 database was available.

written in StarBasic, associated shortcuts, the template SPECIAL.stw,

- OOoPy
is a Python library for modifying OpenOffice.org documents. It provides
a set of transformations on the OOo XML format using the ElementTree
XML Library. Transformations included are a mail merge application and
the concatenation of documents with formatting intact. The framework
supports easy creation of new transformations.
- OOoTranslit:
macro for transliteration of Serbian Cyrilic to Latin and vice versa in
OpenOffice.org Writer. Transliteration can be applied to all text in a
document, or only to selected text.

a full text search program for OpenOffice.org files. It opens all
OpenOffice.org files in a specified directory or volume and searches
for a given keyword.
- OO-TTS
is a text-to speech macro for OpenOffice.org. It's a syllable analyzer:
using a reading motor, it reads a document and translates it into a
vocal message.
- OpenCards is a flash card learning extension for OpenOffice Impress. The
basic idea of OpenCards is to use slide titles as flash card fronts and the
slide contents as their backs.

- OxygenOffice Professional is
an enhanced version of OpenOffice.org. It includes more than 3400
graphics, both clip art and photos, which are integrated into the
gallery and can easily be placed into any OxygenOffice document.
Several templates and sample documents are included, as well as over 90
fonts. OOoWikipedia, which can search Wikipedia, is also included. An
enhanced help menu, additional User's Manual, and extended tips are
great to help beginners get started. You can use more predefined
gradients, colors, and other useful elements, run VBA from Excel
documents in Calc, and import Office Open XML (Microsoft Office 2007),
Works, WordPerfect files, and T602 documents
- Tiny Report
is a database reporting tool and report generator like Crystal Reports.
It allows you to design your templates in OpenOffice using Python
expressions and an object relational mapping component.
